Aarthi Agarwal is one of the well known actress in the Telugu film Industry was born on 5 March in New Jersey, USA. She is an Indian girl came back to India at the age of 14 years. When she was at 14 Sunil Shetty called her to dance on the stage in Pennsylvania, USA. Big B who saw her performance and called her father and encouraged to act in the films.

She acted in her first film “Paagalpan” in 2001 which was a flop one. She then moved to the tollywood and acted with “Victory Venkatesh” in ‘Nuvu Naku Nachavu’ which was super hit film in year 2001. The description of the film is a comedy and family entertainment movie which was been directed by K. Vijay Bhaskar. Then she acted in Allari Ramudu opposite Jr.NTR which was been directed by B. Gopal was a average film in 2002.

In the same year she acted another film Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu opposite Tarun which was another big hit in her carrer. She acted in Vyjayanthi movies(Indra) opposite ‘Mega star Chiranjeevi’ as Snehalatha Reddy which was directed by B.Gopal was successful at box office. she also acted with Uday Kiran in ‘Nee Sneham’. It was directed by Paruchuri Murali this story is based on friendship and love.
In 2003 she got offer acting with Bala Krishna in ‘Palanati Brahmanaidu’, Vasahntham opposite Venkatesh once again and Veede with Raviteja. In 2005 and 06 opposite Nagarjuna in Nenunnanu, Adavi Ramadu with Pradhas, once again with Venkatesh in ‘Sankrati’ and Soggadu with Tarun. In Narasimhudu and Chatrapati she done a item song with Prabhas and Jr.NTR.

After that she got a long gap due to her personal problems. She attempted suicide on March 23, 2005 by drinking bathroom cleaning liquid i.e., phenol due to general talk about emotional association between actress Aarthi and actor Tarun and she was admitted in the hospital. And was discharged on same day at 1.30pm from Apollo hospital in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.
On February 15, 2005 was unforgettable day in her life when she was back to apartment from late-night party or dinner used stairs instead of using elevator as it was not working. She was misbalanced and fell from the steps of the second floor of the apartment and got severe injured for head. Her father gave painkiller and consulted doctor in the next day in Care hospital Banjara Hills and got operation to her head as blood was clotted.

After a long gap she got an offer to act with comedian Sunil which was big hit in 2006. Her next film is London Dreams. Aarthi’s young sister also joined in the Tollywood film Industry and acted with Allu Arjun in ‘Gongotri’ which was directed by Raghavendra Rao.
