Prabhas Raju Uppalapali was born on Oct.023rd. Everybody know him as Prabhas. He was a Tollywood actor and nephew of Tollywood actor Krishnam Raju.

His career was started with the film Eshwar, acted withTamil actress Sridevi but this film didn’t played well and the second film of Prabhas is Raghavendra again the second film disappointed Prabhas. He stepped up for next film finally had succeed with Varsham acted with Trisha Krishnan. This film was directed by Shoban and produced by M.S.Raju, with this film he reached up to the audience. After the success of Varsham, again he came on screen with Adaviramudu acted with Aarti Agarwal but this film doen’t reach up to expectations of audience.

After Adaviramudu he came with film Chakram, this film was directed with theme of Bollywood blockbuster movie ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’, Chakram didn’t live up. In 2005 Sep. of the month Prabhas was back with blockbuster movie Chatrapati acted with Shriya Saran.

This next film was Pouranami and Yogi, the film Pournami was released with very high expectations acted with Charmi and Trisha. But the film was totally flapped and the film Yogi was remaked film. It is Kannada movie Jogi. Was average and mother sentiment film.

Munna is released on 2nd May with high expectations. It is an average movie. Musically it i s good, this movie celebrated triple platinum disc function. This was running with great work of technicians. In this film he was acted with Ileana. He gave a new look in this film. He lost his 15 kgs. of weight for this film.

He was the winner of Santhosham award for best young performer for Varsham in 2004 and he got nominated for Filmfare best actor award for Chatrapati.

Rebel Star Prabhas next film is paired with Shriya Saran with dashing director Puri Jagannadh and producer by K.S. Rama Rao under the banner of Creative Commercial. The film name was ‘Shadow’ it was scripted by Madhubabu. Prabhas and Shriya Saran combination was successful at box office for the film Chatrapathi which was directed by SS Rajamouli.
