
Trisha born on 4th May 1983, as Trisha Krishnan Murthy in Palakkad, India. She is Tamil born actress she worked in Tamil & Telugu film industry. She was got famed by the roles in Saamy & Ghilli.
EARLY LIFE

She born to Krishnan and Uma Krishnan in Palakad. This Tamil Iyer actress got her primary education from Church Park School and pursued her higher education in Ethiraj College, Chennai. Later she modelled and won Miss Salem in 1999, Miss Chennai in 1999 and Miss India as miss beautiful smile in 2001. In school band Trisha is said to be a good duet dancer. She studied in same school where as former of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha.
FILM CARRIER
Before she entered into film field she is a brand ambassador of Horlicks and now she was coming for Perk also. She was model for some textile industries.
She worked with bollywood singer Talgunipathak’s album song “Meri Chunar Udud Jaye”with Ayesha Takia.

Trisha first made her debut in films she was offered a small cameo in film Jodi. Which was dubbing movie. This is first step of Trisha introducing herself with her role to Tollywood. Her 1st movie was signed up for Priyadarshan’s leysa leysa. A string of flops marked the beginning of her carrier like manasellam and Alai. Finally she was suited for her role in Mounam Pesiyadu opposite Surya and won critical acclaim.
And then she played with Vikram as ladylove in the superhit Saami, which was also remarked in Telugu by name Lakshmi Narasimha by Balakrishna and Asin. Her next huge film was Gilli with Vijay. Which was remaked in Telugu as Okkadu with Mahesh Babu and Bhoomika Chawla.

Here 2 blockbuster movies are remaked in Telugu but she doesn’t got any chance to work with Tollywood industry and she came on screen of Telugu film. ‘Ne Manasu Naku Telusu’ with loverboy Tarun and Shriya which was produced by A.M. Ratham. This is dubbed movie, but she doesn’t get any success from this film. Again she got a chance to prove her talent. In 2004 she worked with Prabhas in Varsham which was standed as the biggest hit of the year and turned her sensational.
As in Tamil industry she faced some flops of her carrier and later she successed, the same again happened in Telugu industry also but finally she was proved herself & standed as sensational actresses in both industry.
Next after the big hit of Varsham she starred with Siddharth Narayan in the Telugu film “Nuvostante Nenu Vadantana” in 2005 of Jan. Month as a village girl chartered as ‘Siri’ directed by Prabhudeva. It was a sensational hit at box office. She quoted for the best film she seen in her life is “NVNV”. For this film she won two awards which include Film fare award and Nandi award.

After the great success she got great opportunity to work with fantastic director Maniratnam she was called up to work with Surya, Siddhu and Madhavan in Aayitha Ezhuthu and this is only time she dubbed herself for their film. This is Yuva in Telugu. Her next films Ji, Aathi, Aru didn’t played well, Aru received well by criticis. Aru film dubbed in Telugu by same tittle produced by Saran who had directed previously several movies. Trisha next worked with Nithin in Allari Ramudu directed by Raghavender Rao, it was a flap movie. After this she again acted with Prabhas with a lot of hopes in Pournami directed by Prabhu and produced by M.S.Raju was also a flop. However, the same NVNV film was remaked in Tamil as Unnaku Enaku Something……Something……, she acted with Jayam Ravi which released in 2006 this film was successful at box office.

She also worked with Mega star Chiranjeevi in Stalin this was successful at box office. Her next film was Sainikudu with Prince Mahesh Babu produced by Ashwini Dutt released on Nov. 30 2006. It was high budget film and there was a lot of high expectation in trade circle. It got average talk despite receiving bad talk from the film trade. We got two listen this film played well in oversea like USA & UK. For this film Harri Jayraj gave the music. Musically it got good response.
Trisha recently replaced Ranimukherjee as brand ambassador of Fanta.
Her latest film is ‘Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule’ directed by Raghava acted with Venkatesh and Sri Kanth. This is 1st film of Selva Raghava in Telugu. This was released on 27 April 2007. It is family entertainer movie and receiving good response from audience. The collection was encouraging. Her other project include two Tamil films. Bheema with Vikram and Kireedam with Ajith.
Her we got to listen the rumour that she was working with Yuvasamrat Nagarjuna of his next coming film “Don” but finally she was replaced by Mamta Mohandas.
Kireedam is to be released on June 29 2007 and Bheema on June 15, 2007.
In 2005 she nominated for Film fare best actress for ‘Athadu’.
In 2005 she got Film fare best actress and Nandi award for ‘NVNV’.
In 2004 she got film fare best actress and Santosham award for ‘Varsham’.
In 2002 Film fare best actress award to ‘Mounam Pesiyadu’.

She was lost a chance of Vishal Satyam due to date problem she was replaced by Nayanatara.
Trisha was replaced Jyothika in in Telugu film ‘Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule’ opp. Venki.
She was roped to play in vallaba with simbu but opted out due to her charecter in the film being glamours. So she was replaced by Nayanatara.
She was drop out Vikram’s Mazaa at last moment due to date problem, she was replaced by Asin.
